Officially designated a City in 1974, Brampton is a diverse, cosmopolitan, and vibrant place to be. From a population of 500 in 1853 to 523,911 in 2011, Brampton is Canada’s second fastest growing City. Brampton has been designated as an urban growth area and by 2031, the City’s population is expected to grow to 725,000.
